I don't know if you've heard, but Sterling had some walkouts earlier this week. I haven't met a sinlge non-hispanic person who thinks the protestors have a point or are doing the right thing. True, the Baytown youths never did anything until all the footage from California was on the news, but isn't this still America? These pseudo-patriots go on and on about "our freedom", but when you protest a bill that'll git them wetbacks in them prisons where deys belong, all of a sudden its stupid to indulge in your freedom. As Jello Biafra would say, something's not right here.

Gravatar what's beginning to boggle my mind, is that here Downtown, there seems to be quite a bit of social unrest, things seem pretty tense. it was hard to identify why at first, but i think that everyone is beginning to realise that when Immigration laws are effectively equivalent to Labor laws, there's going to be quite an upstart.

historically, when the work force is upset, countries get turned upside down....
