That's a wonderful picture of your Mom with the orphans.
I had a similar experience with my uncle at my Dad's funeral. He looks a lot like him - but he's a completely opposite personality. It was hard to be around him.
I alos found it surreal to be around, and talk to so many people who had very different experiences of my Dad. Employee, buddy, distant relative - totally different.
Thinking about you buddy!

The picture of your mother with the orphans is a face I recognized. Your animation came from a pure concentrate of joy, your mother. I hope things are well. I miss you. I love you.

Thanks, Anne, I love you guys, too. Thanks, Matt. Some of the reason I'm doing these posts is to connect with people who have suffered similar losses; knowing that you, and others I know, have been this way before makes it all a bit easier. Also, how 'bout those Texas Longhorns beating up on Arizona State! And finally, thanks to Becky Freeman. You're absolutely right about where I got my theatrical nature. You'd have loved her too if you'd known her. I miss you too.
BTW, today's my fortieth birthday!
Also, I've got one more of these to go, and then I'll get back to blogging fun!
