My humans would like to know what happened to Sammy's eye?
We don't really know. That's how he came to us.
We're pretty sure that Frankie and Sammy are brothers, for various reasons, but we adopted them as strays, Frankie one year, then Sammy showed up on our back porch the next year. One vet, who with disturbing glee wanted to dig around in his eye socket with a scalpel, thinks he might still have an eye under the scar tissue, but her excitement at the prospect of cutting him open made us opt for the status quo.
Overall, he gets along just fine, a bit unbalanced at times, but he makes up for it with energy and enthusiasm.
