Sadly this is a bad moment for Chris. He should not have done it- though I suppose I should be happy he attempted it. I guess I feel some cyncism about his attempt to be creative with the richest man in popular music. Why not some lesser known who NEEDED Chris?

Yeah, I guess like other fellow Caucasian male singer/songwriters, Chris just can't resist the temptation of being cool by hooking up with the big-name rappers. Maybe he attempts to expand the fanbase. We've seen it all before (John Mayer/Adam Levine collaborated with Kanye West etc.)
It's something like a guy dream come true.
