@David: Yeah that did came out a bit harsher than I meant it to be. I agree that it could be better worded. I'd done and said plenty of idiotic things when I was around that age that made me look back and say 'What was I thinking?' too, so this is one of those moments for that kid. Still, this goes to show that Wikipedia is your friend.

Hi yeah just thought I'd add that Cascada has covered this song aswell. It isn't as good as the original but she does do the track justice 
I just stumbled across your music blog and I thought it was cool; now that I see you posted about Kim Wilde I know it is cool.
This song has been covered SO MANY times! At last count, I have seen/heard at least 73 cover versions of this song - making it one of the most covered songs in Pop music.
My own band did a cover of this song - I didn't want us to be left out - there seem to be more all the time.
The first version I listened to was the one by No Secrets, but they're long gone and forgotten, before listening to the original on CD.
And how come nobody ever said Jonas Brothers? They did a cover, but made a cheesy remake with altered lyrics.
