Been following your blog for months, and I don't think I ever commented to tell you that yours is my favourite of all the blogs I visit (a pretty long list). But more on topic...

Glad to see Scala getting some love. Fell in love with them when I stumbled on their cover of "Heartbeats" as it was making the rounds, and they've become a quick favourite. Actually, I've been looking forever for a couple of these, so that muchly for that! Oddly, one of my favourites is their cover of Marylin Manson's 'The Beautiful People', despite being unable to stomach his music straight-up. It's an interesting musical experience.

I'm from Belgium so I've heard a lot of their versions (I even know some of the girls) and although some of them are good ,heartbeats for instance, in my opinion they screw up a lot of them...

I get really mad when I listen to their cover of Yellow, all the emotion en the superb feel of the song just vanish into nothing, it's like the meaning of the words dissapear...

There's a limit to what you can do with this formula and some songs just don't need Scala all over them.

i love the creep version...but Yellow is also fantastic...sure the song means a great deal to men and that helps...but the way they perform the song with their voices makes me want to sing in a choir.
