Deleting comments

There are two ways you can delete a comment, or a batch of comments:

• if you are logged in on the main HaloScan site, you can delete them directly from the comment window, or
• you can delete them from the Manage Comments area of the main HaloScan site.

Deleting comments from the comment window

To delete one comment simply click the bin icon under the comment - . You will be asked to confirm that you want to delete the comment. Click OK to delete the post.

To delete more than one comment:

1. Select the checkbox under each comment to be deleted.
2. Scroll to the top of the comment window.
3. Click Delete Selected.
4. You will be asked "Permanently delete all selected posts", click OK to delete the posts.

Deleting comments from the Manage Comments area

If you are logged in on the main HaloScan site, you can use the Manage Comments page to delete one or more comments.

To delete comments:

1. On the main HaloScan site, from the menu on the left, select Manage Comments.
2. Select the checkbox, on the right of the page, of the comment(s) you want to delete.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
4. Click Delete Selected.
5. You will be asked "Permanently delete all selected posts", click OK to delete the posts.

Tip: If you are deleting one comment, just click the bin icon next to the comment - .
