You can choose to append "Edited By Siteowner...." to the end of the comment text to indicate that it has been edited.
Note: You can only edit one comment at a time.

Note: Clicking the edit comment icon whilst in a comment window will bring you to the main HaloScan site. It is suggested that you close the window once you have edited the comment and re-open the comment window from the comment link on your site.

Editing Comments
HaloScan allows you to edit the commenter name, email address and URL. As well as the comment itself, and the time and date the comment was posted.You can choose to append "Edited By Siteowner...." to the end of the comment text to indicate that it has been edited.
Note: You can only edit one comment at a time.
To edit a comment:
- From either the Manage Comments page, or the comment window, click the
edit comment icon.
- The Edit Posts page is displayed, make any changes to the comment and click Save.
- Confirmation of the edit is displayed at the top of the page - "Message Edited".

Time and date Formats
If you are editing the time and date, please note the following:- The month is selected from the drop-down list.
- The date number should be entered without any preceeding zero. For example, the 7th of the month should be entered as 7 NOT 07.
- The year must be all four digits.
- The time is in 24hr clock format. For example, 4.32pm would be 16:32
