You can have HaloScan notify you of new comments by sending you an email. The email is sent every 20 minutes and will list all the comments left on your site since the previous email. HaloScan will send the comment notifications to the email address listed in your account information. Please ensure your account information lists a valid email address, before you activate email notification.
To activate email notification of new comments:
If you have any email spam filters enabled, then you may need to edit them to allow you to receive emails from notification@haloscan.com.

Enabling Email Notification of Comments
You can have HaloScan notify you of new comments by sending you an email. The email is sent every 20 minutes and will list all the comments left on your site since the previous email. HaloScan will send the comment notifications to the email address listed in your account information. Please ensure your account information lists a valid email address, before you activate email notification.
To activate email notification of new comments:
- On the main HaloScan site, select Settings from the menu on the left.
- In the Advanced Settings section, Email Notification option click Activate.
- An email will be sent to your registered email address, you must follow the instructions in the email to activate this feature.
- If followed correctly you will receive this message: "Email has been successfully verified and email notification has now been enabled for your account."
