HaloScan is already integrated with iBlog so the installation is a simple matter of turning on commenting through the iBlog interface.

In step 3 of these instructions, you should replace HALOSCANUSERNAME with your HaloScan username.
To install HaloScan for iBlog:
  1. From the Blogs menu, select Manage Templatesets.
  2. Click the new button to create a new template set.
  3. Add the following HTML code to the templates files (.txt files) in the custom template set. Add the code between the <HEAD> and </HEAD> tags of each page - BlogPage.txt, CategoryPage.txt and EntryPage.txt:
    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.haloscan.com/load.php?user=HALOSCANUSERNAME"> </script> 

  4. Add the following html code after the <$EmailFeedback$> tag in each page - BlogPage.txt, CategoryPage.txt and EntryPage.txt:
    <a href="javascript:HaloScan('<$EntryUUID$>');"><script  type="text/javascript">postCount('<$EntryUUID$>'); </script></a> | <a href="javascript:HaloScanTB('<$EntryUUID$>');" target="_self"><script type="text/javascript">postCountTB('<$EntryUUID$>'); </script></a>

  5. Save the template files.
  6. Preview and Publish.
