To force a comment count update:
Your comment counts should have been updated. If they haven't then it is a glitch on the server itself. These are typically corrected within 48 hours. Check the development blog for updates.

Forcing the Comment Count Update
Occasionally the HaloScan server may not count the comments correctly. You can force an update to the comment count from the Settings page.To force a comment count update:
- On the main HaloScan site, from the menu on the left, select Settings.
- Scroll to the foot of the page, and click the link that says "Force Comment Count Update".
- Go to your website and refresh the page.
