You can change the appearance of the comment window in two ways.
To change your comment template:

Notes
If you have already edited your template HTML, and you preview a template from the Template Gallery, any changes you've made to the template HTML are displayed. This is because the Template Gallery is only a set of styles (using CSS) rather than different HTML templates.
In addition, if you have used the "Preview" option (available when editing your template HTML) and added any test comments to the preview you will also see those comments when you preview a new template. The comments are not part of the template, and are available only for test purposes during the preview. The comments are never displayed from your site.

Picking a new comment template
The easiest way to change the look of your comment window is to select a new template. There are plenty to choose from, all contributed by users of HaloScan.To change your comment template:
- On the main HaloScan site, from the menu on the left, select Template Gallery.
- From the list, you can preview a template by clicking on it's picture. Once you have found one you like, click Save next to it.
That's it. You should now see your newly selected template when you click a comment link on your site.
