What is HaloScan?^^
HaloScan.com provides a free, easy to use commenting system for web logs and websites, allowing visitors to leave instant feedback.
By copying and pasting just 2 lines of code that we generate for you, your weblog or website can have links that your visitors can click to leave their feedback, opinion or a "comment." The commenting links can be added to receive feedback on a particular subject, weblog post, picture or anything else you would like to receive visitor feedback on. You can see a demo here.

Troubleshooting
How do I change the text that shows the number of comments I have ?^^
Change them in your settings. The actual HaloScan code DOES NOT affect the comment link text. Changing the identifiers in step #2 WILL NOT change the text that shows how many comments you have.
Have you included step #1 of the HaloScan code immediately after <head> or immediately before </head> ?
Have you correctly inserted step #2 of the HaloScan code ?
If you're manually adding the comments, make sure the identifiers for each comments link match up. i.e. : make sure that whatever identifiers you have in the blue text match up. So while this will not work :
If all else fails, check the forums. We will help you all we can.
I'm a premium member and my header image or header title doesn't appear.^^
In your HTML template page (the first link from the "Template" page in the members section), you will find a set of marks that look like <-- and -->. Delete those 2 sets of marks to have your header image or title show.
I have a non-upgraded account and some of my really old posts disappeared.^^
All comments over four months old are archived for non-premium members. These comments are simply moved to a different database and are not deleted. This is done to keep the performance of the site at an acceptable level. This restriction does not apply to premium (upgraded) members.
How do I ...
... get more information on how to customize my style-sheet, edit my comments template, or tweak my HaloScan functions?^^
