I just tested this with a few Intel machines and the results are indeed very flaky - a MBP will give me only a GPU temp, while a MB (CD) will not give any sensor readings at all! I'll have to investigate this some more. This is a mix of MacMinis, G4/5s and a RacMAc Server too ie. XServe. Now it's possible that some of them don't have sensors but I know for sure the XServe does as it's listed in it's Server Manager properties. You means as text tracks? I think that's the biggest tragedy with QT - there's a ton of wonderful stuff there, but no tools to take advantage of it. LiveStage hasn't seen major improvements in years. However, Apple has not produced any tools beyond manually adding the CC track.
