      <description>Amen! As you know, I see the ARNP when I am able instead of the MD at my GYN practice and the same holds true for the ARNP at my daughter's peds practice. ARNP's are awesome! No, they cannot do everything an MD can do but they can do a lot and they do it well... and they know when to consult the MD for assistance. 
There are also WAAAAYYYY too many MRI's, CT's etc ordered... duplication of costly...</description>

      <description>i know this post is old. but that was exactly what i had done last week. 

my wife is an er trauma nurse.

midnight: started feeling chest pain, sweating, all the other stuff that you mentioned. 

(my wife just finished a 16 hour shift and was in bed)

i thought i should take a tums and an asprin.

pain went away, i went back to blogging.

emailed wife explaining pain.
