      <description>Not really an either/or situation.  I cover local events, but only those I FEEL like covering-- though sometimes I cover what our daily rag does not.

On the other hand, the NYTimes is doing a series on water pollution which surely is taking far more money and resources than nearly any blog could muster.

Glad to have both blogs and (at least some) good traditional journalism, printed on paper...</description>

      <description>Very late to this discussion but let me say this straight - Melissa and Brian come from very wealthy families and they both have had very cushy jobs and both have never really had real jobs outside of cushy jobs given to them.

This Sparky's place was the first time both of them ever did any physical labor beyond token jobs let alone run a restaurant.
