Oh, a lot of peanut butter in the air these days, I see! Your cookies look a lot more elaborated than mine, and oh so delicious. I will have a look at the recipe.
Do you feel better today? Hope so!

Oh I'm so glad you're feeling a bit better. I know just what you mean about the exercise routine. Really must get back into one soon too. And of course peanut butter is positively good for you! K x

Oh, ugh. I can relate, I've had two nasty colds this fall, and I usually am fairly strong. Ah, well. I hope you recover soon, and enjoy those fabulous cookies!

Ah, medicinal chocolate...that's a fantastic remedy!

Not to negate the good that exercise would be but just supposing that perhaps you might also be a busy, busy mum, I might also suggest (not that you asked, mind you!) that it's also okay just to pamper yourself every now and then...a book or a DVD to go with those lovely cookies.

I hope you feel better soon - there have been some horrid colds around this year, and damp weather doesn't help, I am sure.

Oh, my dear friend, I am so sorry you are feeling like a drippy faucet! Grab a real hankerchief, and huge pot of tea, some cushions and a cozy quilt and rest. Maybe, in a day or two, if possible, you could go for an invigorating walk through your lovely countryside. Make sure you wrap yourself in a warm scarf, hat and some mittens! (Now I sound like a Mom) Just take good care of yourself, Rebecca....

Oh, poor you. It's hard to be sick when you haven't had a lot of practice and when you have others to care for.

I think that it's probably a comination of things- a little stress from the move and settling in and maybe even the same cold back again. That seems to be a problem with the colds and viruses these days- they take so long to properly go away.

But, I do believe that being outs...

And you may not really have fully recovered from the house move - one of life's top stressors, after all - in time for colder, damper weather? I swear by high doses of Vit C - doesn't cure a cold, in my experience, but certainly shortens its life.

Get well soon.

Yum!
Lowered resistance is probably a combination of both isn't it, of building up resistance against new germs and of not exercising. I do feel a lot better when I get my exercise and it really helps your resistance. I have been swimming with the beginnings of a cold which I've then hit on the head - it still surprises me when that happens!
