I hope that the debate over whether or not the government of Alberta was guilty of political interference does not overshadow the real issue of the Greenpeace action which is climate crime. IMO jobs and oil cannot justify the pollution of air and water which is shared by all species on this planet.

English Common Law "inherited from our ancestors"? Man, he sure isn't too subtle about his racism, is he?

I especially loved the use of Rockwell's 'Freedom of Speech' painting in the background. How wholesome. How nostalgic. How... American.

That is one nasty pamphlet of old-school agit-prop and outrageous lies there. There is zero attribution anywhere! For one thing, the CHRC doesn't have the power to convict anyone! Here is what they can do (from http://www.chrc-ccdp.ca/about/default-en.asp):

How idiotic must people be to believe this garbage? These Cons are so very dangerous to human rights - here or anywhere. They MUST go! Thanks for showing us the pamphlet.

It was not a deliberate leak. This works on the Conservative base, but no one else. For the rest of us, it is a reminder of what these yahoos really stand for and motivates us.

There are better ways for the Conservatives to guarantee airtime for this sort of thing than to rely on a lone Liberal to pass it along, and then for the Liberals to not notice that it will help Harper (according to this...

So here's the thing: if you're not a big fan of the Harper Cons, shouldn't this be seen as a great 'win-win' situation for the opposition?

As we head into another election, Harper and the Cons will be seen in one of two ways:

1. Contempt for the court's decision that they broke the law, again showing that they have a general contempt for Canadian legislators, defying any reason why they sh...

The question under dispute will be if it applies during minority governments and lacking an explicit exemption it will take a convincing argument to show that.
