I too am a lefty. Honestly, it feels like someone else is doing it.

As for your mirror observation, it's a bit like a demonstration of Occam's razor in reverse. Occam's Incredibly Blunt Spoon, if you will.

Hello and welcome, Kn. You will probably die early as a result of an accident involving a right-handed tin opener, but apart from that you are fine as you are.

Oh wow, very interesting post. I'm a lefty, is it a bad thing? People say I'm unique,

but I'm not sure if its because I'm a lefty. Lol.

Anon - yes, it's polo, otherwise the horses would collide. I'm not sure about (field) hockey - I think you can only play off one side of the stick, which would seem to force left-handers to play right-handed, but then maybe they can just turn the stick "upside-down"?

I don't wear a bracelet - I just wear my watch on my right wrist and always have. Except when I have something to remember - in

The only one I know is Polo - are there any others?

Do you wear your watch on the right arm so that you can do up your bracelet? That's my excuse - except I don't even own that bracelet anymore

Anon - So do I, so I'm afraid I am wise to that trick.

Here's a puzzle for you: Which sport(s) can't be played left-handed? (No Googling!)

Duck - I like the Law of Unnatural Selection.

It was more "Why on earth would anyone do that?" - the saving money and time was the best explanation I could come up with as my food cooled. Perhaps the cafe went to a lot of trouble to create this trompe l'oeil. I shall v

At the moment when it was noticed that the second picture was a mirror image of the first, the less cynical person might have looked for a mirror. You blamed the photographer's cynicism. Hm.

Now that you mention it I have noticed a significant increase in the number of left-handers in my life lately - mostly new acquaintances, who meet the minimum criteria of being slightly geeky and wonderfully weird in order to be of interest.

Like you, I make a mental note as soon as they do something cack-handedly, but had assumed it was a coincidence that it was occurring more often than not....
