      <description>Yeah, this was definitely not a weekday meal. It took me about three hours to cook also, and I did get it to dry out and caramelize but we (my husband and I) decided we liked it better just before it totally dried out when it was still a little soupy. But then we're gravy kind of people. LOL!</description>

Tumeric makes quite the powerful stain doesn't it.  I was actualy thinking about using some to dye some yarn.

      <description>This was a great challenge, thanks for hosting it.  I made it with potatoes &amp; mine came together in about 3 hours.  It was so good, although I used too many peppers &amp; made it a little too spicy.  Great flavor though</description>

I liked it saucy too.  We had it both ways.  The second time we had it with potatoes and it went really well together.  My husband says he still thinks about that dish.</description>
