It is still for the most part accepted as second best. it is time for that to stop. We are forever hearing " now that you are adopting you will get pregnant" assuming there is an issue with fertility. Because you're not be able to get pregnant assumption! I know it well, and it bothers me, too. Maybe some day this will change, I hope anyhow:) For now you just have to keep informing people on the other reasons to adopt.
